haha. yo people. cool things happened to day. first was the mass dance. don't get me wrong! i am not saying that the DANCE is cool. it is the teaching-the-sec-ones part of the mass dance that was cool. guess that i was just lucky to get a class with sec one boys who listens to you. they are quite good. at least they listen to what i say. maybe it was because i SHOUTED at the whole class to listen to audrey(han). haha. i'm so bad. shouting at sec ones. who cares? anyway, then they learned and learned till i taught them the whole of the first verse, THEN the 1f boys came and said that they wanted to join my "class". you know why? because their totally "reliable" "teacher" was teaching/flirting with the 1f girls. no prizes for guessing the councillor who flirts the most with girls. haha. but i did not take them, and they returned to their class and by whatever miracle, learnt the whole dance. they fun thing was teaching the kids how to dance, or basically to do something which they did not know but we did. i guess the satisfaction lies in knowing that what you teach actually made its way into somebody's mind and stayed there. haha. so "fatherly' right?(quote). it was fun, really. teaching those guys the dance. then the rest was boring. after the dance was recess and after recess was a song thing by some church people. they only thing nice was the drummer and the electric guitarist. they rock! and after this was a speech by victor seah and then a self-promotion by Dong Li 88.3, a station which is equivilant to antarctica to me. basically, i know absolutely nothing about this radio station, so i just slacked. and after this was the SPORTS HEATS!!!! actually i hoped that it would be postponed due to the rain at first but we still carried on with it anyway. so we went to bedok stadium and waited for out turn. damn was i nervous. it had been like soooo long since i trained. but i went to the track anyway and just got ready. i actually felt calmer on the track. don't know why, maybe it is because i already know that i cannot turn back? so miss loh horned the horn(?) and we just took off. actually not we. i was about two steps late. so i lagged, then i ran. as i ran, it was so shiok. just ran and ran and ran. the first guy that i overtook was frederick. haha. i left him cursing away. so it was just left with me ang rong bin in the lead. but i overtook him a little bit and came in first and GAINED A FIRST FOR NCC!!!!! it was so cool. people were congratulating me. so honoured. haha. then it was 1500m and 4x100m again. this time it was ganda, rong xuan, ziqi and me running, in this order. so we ran. then the badminton guy pro. he cut into ziqi's path and back to his own again. this caused ziqi to pass the baton to me while he was in the third position. but thanks to my SUPERB running skills(A-HEM!), i managed to clinch the second spot. not too bad, but it can be improved. luckily, after we ran, the biggest storm of the week decided to drop in. so we had to postpone the remaining events. haha. well, did i really looked THAT weird while running? haha, maybe it was because i was facing down all the time? haha. it felt so good. the taste of sweet sweet victory. the feeling of having some other people lose to you. the feeling of snatching the first place from others. boy, that felt GOOD! but most importantly, it was a score for the best, the powerful, the invincible, the almighty, the super, the strong, the elite.....ANGLICAN HIGH SCHOOL NATIONAL CADET CORPS!!!! good night!
