okay i know i'm lag and that it's been out for some time already, but hey, i don't have so much time (like before) to go prancing around in comics connection or big bookshop to check the arrival of comic books.
and the special edition set costs a whooping s$79.90. almost $80. and i thought it was like $30+? gee, an underestimation of $50. not really worth it though. plus my books are still in such a good condition, so the box is probably redundant.
today's miss-wu-KI day. so it means sitting and talking about stuff that usually you wouldnt think about like "if the external world exists while you're asleep". so somehow or another, we talked until a point where we discussed about each person's reality is specific and unique. as in what you perceive as reality might not be somebody else's reality.
so the overlapping of realities between two people is called - fate.
Sors Immanis, et Inanis - Fate, monstrous. and Empty.
come to think of it, quite true. and rather cruel too. cruel enough to pull the lives/realities of two people so close together, but not close enough. but the idea of fate alone is quite a turn-off to some. like Neo in the Matrix trilogy, he doesn't believe in fate becuase he don't like the idea that he is not in control of his life.
are we in control of our lives? or are we predestined to do things? like a huge reel of film, our entire life is drawn out and fixed in frames, waiting to be played on the big screen of the world.
but sometimes, i just want to bend fate, bend destiny. or perhaps it is fate that has already drawn us so close, but it is destiny that disallow us to be together. but ohwell, i'll need the cheat code for the game then.
imagine the world is like a gigantic Sims game. and i'm Guo Jinghui.exe. school is Victoria Junior College.exe. Singapore.exe. Water.exe. Fate.exe. All Life On Earth.exe. just a ctrl-alt-delete, end task could end your problems.
the frialty of life. it's only through knowing this fact, that we can truly appreciate and savour every moment we spend. every sight smell taste sound touch is bliss.
fyi. i'm not suicidal.
and i have yet to beat Fate.
